A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between IIT Jodhpur, JCKIF and Futurense Technologies Private Limited, on 16th March, 2024 for Bachelor of Science Course in Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence. The MOU was signed by Prof. Santanu Chaudhury, Director IIT Jodhpur, Dr G. S. Toteja, CEO JCKIF and Mr Vikas Gupta, CMD, Futurense Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Successful Implementation of Skill Development Training Programme PMKVY 4.0: 104 Participants Benefit from On-Job-Training

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY) 4.0, a short-term skill development training initiative, has achieved notable success by facilitating valuable industry exposure through On-The-Job Training (OJT) opportunities.

The OJT sessions, organized in March 2024, involve daily sessions lasting 6 to 8 hours at participating companies. This intensive training aims to impart practical skills essential for their chosen professions. Esteemed companies such as Rama Reflection India, Johari Digital Healthcare Ltd, Divya Switchgear, and Synco Industries Limited provide OJT opportunities.



Dr G.S Toteja, CEO JCKIF visit to FDDI Jodhpur

Dr G.S Toteja, CEO of Jodhpur City Knowledge & Innovation Foundation visited FDDI Jodhpur on February 26th 2024 to discuss about collaborative engagements between FDDI and JCKIF for joint research, knowledge sharing and strategic partnership.

FDDI is a premier academic and training institution dedicated to the development and growth of the Footwear & Product, Leather Products, Retail and Fashion Merchandise and Fashion Design sectors. FDDI has been granted the status of “An Institution of National Importance” under the FDDI Act 2017.

Dr Toteja saw the students work and institute’s state of the art R&D set up of Centre of Excellence. The FDDI Faculty members explained how FDDI is playing a key role in imparting education, facilitating the Indian industry by bridging the skill gap in the areas of Footwear, Fashion, Leather Accessory design and also narrated the need of special purpose footwear for the safety and occupational application and to assist and carry out support for the orthotics and prosthetics application.

Mr Anil Kumar, Executive Director FDDI Jodhpur in discussion with Dr Toteja said this CoE is having world class infrastructure facility to provide much needed R&D and address concerns of the industry like boosting research and innovation in Safety footwear sector, product development, research projects and related products development of specialized module.

Dr Toteja, Mr Anil Kumar and other staff of FDDI discussed various topics such as best practices, technological advancements, research initiatives, and other related topics to bring about an overall improvement and means of collaboration.



Visit of MIT World Peace University, Pune students at Phygital Mueseum, JCKIF Office

The IIT Jodhpur Technology Innovation and Start-up Center (TISC) operates as a Section-8 Company supported by IITJ and recognized by the Government of India as a Technology Business Incubator (TBI). In collaboration with MIT Pune, TISC conducts the National Academic Immersion Program in AI. Over 80 students from MIT Pune participated in a workshop and training session held at TISC, IIT Jodhpur. During their visit, Mr. Vignesh Mohan, CEO of TISC, accompanied the students to the Phygital Museum 'Dharohar' of the Jodhpur City Knowledge & Innovation Foundation on February 8th, 2024. Mr. Mohit Panwar, Assistant Program Manager at JCKIF, provided them with insights into various crafts of Jodhpur and their respective products. Furthermore, they were introduced to the e-commerce website kalaanubhav.in, where they could purchase these products. The students also learned about the role of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in enhancing the crafts sector.
