AIoT Innovation Hub

Establishment of an Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIOT) fabrication facility, to create a sustainable and advanced ecosystem that facilitates end-to-end design, development, prototyping, and pilot production of AIOT systems, at the Technology Park of IITJ.

The proposed ecosystem is in synergy with the recently announced Semiconductor Mission by the Govt. of India and also with the local policies in Rajasthan. The hub will enable co-creation of AIOT technologies by start-ups, MSME, faculties, and students in a wide range of application areas like Industry 4.0, Healthcare, Agriculture, Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy, Environment, Surveillance & Security, Water, etc.

  • An agreement to create a joint venture was signed on 22nd February 2022 between RISL, JCKIF and IIT Jodhpur. We are progressing to register the AIOT Innovation Hub as a section 8 (not for profit) company, with RISL and JCKIF as shareholders.
  • ELCINA has signed a MoU with IITJ to participate in the hub and a group of ELCINA companies are closely working with us for a few sensors and systems development.
  • Discussions with MEITY, Govt. of India and other industry partners like TCS, IBM, ARM, etc. are ongoing for additional stakeholder support.
  • Define and align the 1st set of deliverables (to deliver by Mar’2023)
