Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, inaugurated the Innovation Gallery and Livelihood Support Initiatives on October 26,2023 at Jodhpur Club, IIT Jodhpur. An E-Commerce website Kalaanubhav.in was also inaugurated by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood in the presence of Dr Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, Prof. Santanu Chaudhury Director IIT Jodhpur, Prof. Sampat Raj Vadera, Deputy Director, IIT Jodhpur, and all Science & Technology Cluster’s representatives viz. BCKIC, JCKIF, PKC, RICH, BeST, DRIIV & Northern Region Chandigarh.

Kalaanubhav.in serves as an E-Commerce platform enabling artisans to directly showcase and sell their handloom and handicraft products to customers. The platform offers the convenience of exploring these unique items from the comfort of one's home, bringing the beauty of artisanal creations to doorstep.

The standout feature of Kalaanubhav.in is its 3D viewing capability, allowing customers to virtually rotate and view products from various angles. This immersive experience enables a close inspection of intricate details, just as if you are holding the item in your own hands.

There was also showcase of activities of all cluster’s as well as there was an interactive session with the faculty of IIT Jodhpur.

Students at IIT Jodhpur also presented cutting-edge technologies and research in the field of medical technologies, Thar Design, AIOT, and Water & Environment.

Prof. Sood, Dr Maini and others also had interaction with artisans and traditional musician.
