Jodhpur City Knowledge and Innovation Foundation and IIT Jodhpur jointly organized an open house exhibition cum sale of Bone & Horn craft on July 2 and 3, 2022 in IIT campus to support artisans of unorganized sector and to create digital museum for global marketing of these products.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof Sampat Raj Vadera, Deputy Director IIT Jodhpur. Seven local manufacture units of Bone & Horn craft participated in the exhibition and they were represented by Mr. Suresh Chauhan, Mr. Kamal Kishor Soni, Mr. Jakir Hussain, Mr. Immamuddin, Mr. Rehmat Ali, Mr. Banwari Lal, Mr. Ibrahim Mehar and their teams.

Artisans displayed vast range of products made of Bone and Horn like Taj Mahal, Train, Bus, Tractor, Elephant, Coffee table, Side table, Hand bags, Jewellery etc. Over 700 people visited the exhibition and appreciated the work of local artisans for keeping and promoting traditional culture and also appreciated JCKIF and IIT for taking such a wonderful and useful initiative. The visitors were from IIT, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, NIFT, NIIRNCD, Agriculture University and other organizations. The noticeable dignities were Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar, Vice Chancellor and Mrs. Seema Kavia RAS Registrar both from Ayurved University and Mr. Abhishek Surana IAS, CEO, Zila Parishad.

The exhibition was organized in overall direction of Prof Santanu Chaudhry, Director IIT Jodhpur. Ms Khushi Program Manager coordinated under the guidance of Dr Sankalp Pratap, Dr Rajendra Nagar, Mr Nimish Vohra, and Dr G S Toteja CEO, JCKIF.
